“I don’t think I can do this.”  That’s how hard it was when my son was born and wouldn’t latch.

When breastfeeding didn’t “just happen” I found myself engorged and leaking with a crying baby in one arm and a nipple shield (I didn’t know how to use) in the other.  I reached out for help and learned the power of lactation professionals. Through my IBCLC, I surpassed my breastfeeding goals, met a peer support community of amazing moms and discovered my love for helping others achieve their infant feeding goals.

My name is Kim Mueller, I’m the founder of My Mommy Milk lactation services, a mom of three wonderful kiddos and an international board-certified lactation consultant (IBCLC).

I earned my BS from the University of Virginia, my Masters in Public Health at the University of Nevada, Reno and started my lactation training in 2015.  I’ve helped hundreds of families on their journey and became an IBCLC in 2019.

When my youngest was 3 and still nursing she would look up with her big brown eyes and ask “mommy milk?” and My Mommy Milk was born!

I love spending time outdoors with my family and dogs, stumping my kids with riddles, singing along to 90’s hits, and I can be found all over Denver area little league and soccer fields.
